Friendly helpful staff! Property needs better up keep , with paint , damage to walls in hallways , I expected better up keep for a Hilton . Also the internet in my room only worked the first day and I was there 5 plus nights. I had to go and sit in hallway to get internet .

Room was clean, bed comfy, shower very good with the added bonus of a tub. Yards away from subway so great for getting around. Staff at front desk and housecleaning were very friendly. Water is provided daily but no tea/coffee in room which would have been nice to come back to. VIP perks of free beverage is non existent. No view. Good hotel for getting around the city but I have stayed in better

Back in the 70s I lived in the building next door. The building where the Night Hotel is now was an SRO (look it up) back in the day. I noted that a number of rooms seemed to still be SRO housing. The clerk acknowledged that. was so. Go watch the film "The Night Porter" with Dirk Bogarde and Charlotte Rampling to get a feel.
