We were assigned a room where the refrigerator wasn't working (the freezer was fine) - the clerk sent maintenance staff, who tried to gaslight by saying we weren't closing the door properly The Manager intervened, and we got another room - the iron in the new room however, had some kind of adhesive on it, which while ironing my shirt, transferred onto my shirt and ruined it - swapped the iron out, for all the good it did for my shirt Aside from these two things, the hotel is pleasant and quiet - it's just far enough from Times Square that you miss the noise, but close enough that you can walk - the gym is much smaller and more modestly equipped than seemingly advertised The complimentary drinks are a nice touch I would stay here again

Excellent location in midtown in order to travel north or south of the manhattan. The rooms were large and comfortable, but the lighting in the room was very dim. We sent a note to the manager but there was no response. The only thing that was not good was charging the resort fee which was about $50 a day for amenities that most people in the hotel do not use. Restaurant off the lobby for breakfast and dinner was convenient and the staff were very attentive. However the breakfast was expensive ( $14- $18 for omelette / eggs or yogurt ) and it had a limited menu. We ended up going to various places on Madison which was half the price - eg. Pret n manger. We would stay again.
